Ronald Swindle, 68, of Modesto, passed away after being struck by a car at 6:50 a.m. close to Santa Ana Avenue, according to spokeswoman Sharon Bear of the Modesto Police Department. The investigation states that Swindle was hit while crossing Yosemite Boulevard close to Santa Ana Avenue. When the motorist left the scene, he was driving west on Yosemite Boulevard, per officers.
