Citrus Heights, CA (June 28, 2025) – A serious head-on collision occurred early Saturday morning at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Sunrise Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash, reported around 3:45 a.m., involved a black Acura sedan and a white pickup truck. Authorities reported that the two vehicles collided head-on, though the cause of the crash remains unclear. First responders treated one individual at the scene who sustained major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for further care. The current condition of the injured person has not been disclosed.
