Citrus Heights, CA - Woman and Child Injured in Crash at Binet and Greenback

Citrus Heights, CA (April 16, 2025) – A woman and a child were injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning at Binet Drive and Greenback Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 8:18 a.m. Emergency crews from Citrus Heights Fire and Rescue responded and transported both victims to a local hospital. They were conscious during transport, but the extent of their injuries has not been released.

Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. Traffic in the area was delayed while responders cleared the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by CHP, with no confirmation yet on whether speed, distraction, or failure to yield was involved.
