Diamond Springs, CA - Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on Mother Lode Dr

Diamond Springs, CA (May 6, 2025) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Mother Lode Drive and Greenstone Cutoff near Placerville, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at approximately 2:50 p.m. The rider was found down in the roadway and was transported by paramedics to a hospital for treatment. A tow truck was called to remove the damaged motorcycle from the scene.

Details about the second vehicle involved have not yet been released. CHP is actively investigating the incident to determine the cause and potential fault.
