East Sacramento, CA - One Injured in Crash on Folsom Rd & Butterfield Way

East Sacramento, CA (May 28, 2025) – One person was injured when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Folsom Road and Butterfield Way, the California Highway Patrol reports.

The crash occurred around 5:58 p.m. Wednesday when a sedan and an SUV struck each other under investigation. Paramedics treated the injured party at the scene before transporting the patient to a local hospital for further evaluation.

CHP investigators continue to examine what led to the collision, including possible factors such as speed, driver distraction, or road conditions.
