Stockton, CA - Hit-and-Run Crash Involving Bicycle on Waterloo Rd Leaves One Injured

Stockton, CA (October 02, 2025) – A hit-and-run collision involving a bicycle occurred on Wednesday evening on Waterloo Road near N. Newport Avenue in Stockton, leaving one person injured, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office (SJSO).

The incident happened around 5:17 p.m., when a red vehicle struck a cyclist. Initial reports also mentioned a black SUV involved in the crash. Emergency responders arrived on scene to treat the injured cyclist.

Authorities confirmed that the driver fled the scene and the incident is being investigated as a hit-and-run with injuries.

Officials are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed the crash.
