Humboldt Hill, CA (June 10, 2025) – A pedestrian was injured when a fleeing driver struck the person on Humboldt Hill Road near Bongio Court, CHP reports.
The crash occurred at about 1:41 p.m. on Wednesday. Eureka Fire and paramedics treated the injured pedestrian at the scene before transporting the victim to a local hospital; the extent of injuries remains unconfirmed.
Eureka PD is actively seeking witnesses and information to identify the hit-and-run driver.
