Madera County, CA - Minor Injuries Reported in Car and Big Rig Collision on SR-99

Madera County, CA (April 16, 2025) A car and big rig collided Wednesday on State Route 99, resulting in minor injuries to one person, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred when the driver of a passenger vehicle lost control and struck the side of a semi-truck trailer. Emergency crews responded to the scene and confirmed that a passenger in the car suffered minor injuries. The driver of the big rig was not hurt.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation by CHP

We are thankful the injuries were not more serious and wish the injured passenger a fast recovery.
