North Highlands, CA (July 09, 2025) – A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run collision Wednesday morning at a busy intersection in North Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At around 10:35 a.m., CHP responded to a crash at Watt Avenue and Elkhorn Boulevard. Officers said a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
Emergency medical services transported the injured pedestrian to a nearby hospital. The extent of the injuries has not been disclosed.
CHP officers began an investigation at the scene and are searching for the hit-and-run driver. No suspect vehicle description has been released at this time.
