Oakhurst, CA (July 11, 2025) – A bicyclist was injured Friday afternoon in a crash on Junction Dr when he was struck by a vehicle. The collision occurred around 3:00 p.m. as the cyclist was maneuvering between vehicles stopped at a red light and was struck by a southbound vehicle.
First responders, including fire and medical teams, arrived on the scene and provided immediate care to the injured rider. The bicyclist sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center for further treatment. No additional injuries were reported.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene, and the California Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances of the crash. Investigators have not yet released further details on the cause of the collision.
