Oakland, CA (May 19, 2025) – A child suffered severe head trauma when struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Nicol and Coolidge avenues, fire officials report.
The collision occurred around 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Emergency crews arrived swiftly and transported the child to a nearby hospital.
Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the driver stayed at the scene or is cooperating with investigators. The incident remains under investigation.
