Oakland, CA (May 11, 2025) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision Sunday afternoon on southbound Interstate 880 near Hegenberger Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 4:41 p.m. and involved a motorcycle and a blue sedan. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the sedan remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
