Woodland, CA (October 22, 2025) – One person died on Thursday morning, and three others were injured in a two-vehicle crash along rural roads in Woodland, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 102 and County Road 17. CHP officials reported that a Toyota sedan was traveling southbound on County Road 102 when it failed to stop at a stop sign, colliding with a Kia sedan that was crossing the intersection.

Car Accidents in California: Know Your Legal Rights
Fatal and serious injury accidents, like this two-vehicle collision, can lead to significant emotional and financial hardship. California law allows victims and their families to pursue compensation through personal injury or wrongful death claims for medical bills, funeral expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
When an accident is caused by negligence, such as failure to stop at a stop sign or reckless driving, victims may be able to hold the at-fault driver or other parties accountable.
