Sacramento, CA - Acura and SUV Involved in Crash on I-5 Near Richards Blvd

Sacramento, CA (April 27, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash was reported Sunday evening on Interstate 5 South near Richards Boulevard in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision, which occurred around evening rush hour, involved a gray Acura sedan and a black SUV. Officials said the Acura also struck a tree after the initial impact, causing both vehicles to veer into nearby grassy areas. Emergency crews responded promptly to manage the scene.

Authorities have not confirmed the extent of injuries at this time. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
