Sacramento, CA - Big Rig and Ford Mustang Crash at Garfield Ave and Auburn Blvd

Sacramento, CA (April 24, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash involving a big rig and a Ford Mustang was reported early Thursday morning at the intersection of Garfield Avenue and Auburn Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 5:35 a.m. and caused significant disruptions to the morning commute. Both vehicles obstructed the roadway, prompting emergency crews to implement lane restrictions. A tow truck was called to assist with removing the Mustang from the scene.

No injuries have been confirmed at this time. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
