Sacramento, CA (June 23, 2025) – A bicyclist was injured in a crash near the US-50 East and CA-99 South interchange, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened around 7:36 p.m. Monday in a high-speed traffic zone. Paramedics with the Sacramento Fire Department treated the cyclist at the scene and transported them to a local hospital. The extent of injuries has not been released.
Initial reports suggest the cyclist may have been crossing or merging into traffic near an on-ramp when the collision occurred. Traffic was temporarily impacted as crews investigated and cleared the scene.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
