Sacramento, CA - One Injured in Parkway Hit-and-Run on Golden State Highway

Sacramento, CA (May 9, 2025) – At least one person was injured Friday morning in a hit-and-run collision on northbound Golden State Highway near the eastbound 47th Avenue off-ramp in the Parkway area, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 9:12 a.m. Emergency responders from CHP and the Sacramento Fire Department arrived at the scene and provided medical aid to the injured individual. The extent of the injuries has not been disclosed.

Authorities stated that the suspect’s vehicle was positioned directly behind the victim’s car at the time of the crash but fled the scene before officers arrived. The identity of the driver remains unknown, and no vehicle description has been released.

CHP investigators are actively working to identify and locate the driver responsible.
