Sacramento, CA (April 29, 2025) – A man is in critical condition after being struck by a Sacramento Regional Transit bus Tuesday evening in Midtown Sacramento. The collision occurred around 7:00 p.m. near the intersection of 24th Street and an adjacent roadway, prompting a swift emergency response.

Authorities confirmed that the pedestrian was hit by the bus under circumstances that remain under investigation. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before transporting him to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition. His identity has not yet been released.

The Sacramento Police Department is leading the investigation and has not disclosed further details regarding the cause of the incident or whether any citations have been issued. Traffic in the area was temporarily affected as crews worked at the scene.
