San Diego, CA - One Injured in Crash on Highway 163 Near Friars Rd

San Diego, CA (April 11, 2025) – One person was injured in a crash Friday night on the southbound side of Highway 163 near Friars Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at approximately 9:35 p.m. Emergency crews, including paramedics, responded to the scene and provided treatment. At least one individual was transported to a local hospital for further care. The number of vehicles involved and the extent of injuries have not been released.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
