San Jose, CA - One Injured in Four-Vehicle Crash on Highway 17

San Jose, CA (May 9, 2025) – At least one person was injured Friday afternoon in a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 17 near Hamilton Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at approximately 3:44 p.m. Responding officers found four vehicles involved at the scene. Details regarding the sequence of events leading up to the crash have not yet been disclosed.

The injured individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of the injuries remains unknown.

CHP is actively investigating the cause of the collision.
