UC Davis, CA (June 10, 2025) – A 56-year-old man died when his vehicle veered off the westbound Interstate 80 off-ramp to UC Davis and struck a guardrail, CHP reports.
The crash occurred around 12:55 p.m. Tuesday after the driver appeared to suffer a medical emergency at the wheel. First responders pronounced him dead at the scene; no other occupants or injuries were reported.
CHP’s Davis office is investigating the circumstances of the incident, including whether any roadway factors contributed to the crash.
