Westley, CA - Three Big Rigs Crash on I-5 at Howard Rd On-Ramp

Westley, CA (May 13, 2025) – Three big rigs were disabled in a crash on northbound I-5 at the Howard Road on-ramp around 5:11 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reports.

CHP says the collision involved three semi-trucks and left at least one with heavy damage that required specialized towing equipment. All three remained non-drivable, blocking the on-ramp for several hours as crews worked to clear the wreckage.

It’s unclear if any drivers were injured. The CHP’s Traffic Division continues to investigate; motorists are advised to expect delays and proceed with caution.

We extend our best wishes for the safety of everyone involved.
