Roseville, CA (April 16, 2024) – On Monday at 6:45 p.m., the California Highway Patrol reports that a fatal collision occurred at the intersection of Doyle Ranch Drive and Walerga Road.
According to the CHP, a man driving a Mercedes collided with a Mazda driver who was turning onto Doyle as he was traveling north on Walerga. The Mazda driver sustained severe injuries, and his passenger passed away. The Mercedes driver was also transported to the hospital. The identity of the deceased has not yet been disclosed. For several hours, the intersection was closed while officers conducted an investigation. Witnesses were asked to contact the Auburn Division of the California Highway Patrol.
