Sacramento, CA (June 2, 2024) – A man was taken to the hospital for major injuries after a car hit him early Friday morning in Sacramento.
Emergency medical services were dispatched around 12:55 a.m. to 16th and V Streets. The car that hit the man was not there when they arrived. Police blocked off the area to traffic while the investigation into the hit-and-run was underway. The roadway was fully reopened by 6:30 a.m. The driver has not yet been apprehended.
