Sacramento, CA (May 21, 2024) – One person has lost her life as a result of a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday evening, May 18. The collision was reported to law enforcement at around 5:40 p.m.
According to police reports, a Dodge pickup truck was traveling south on Fulton Avenue during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, the vehicle was rear-ended by a Toyota SUV. The impact of the crash sent the Dodge off the side of the roadway. One person involved in the accident, identified as 62-year-old Douglas Anderson, was fatally injured in the crash. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. A man, woman, and baby were all transported to area hospitals for emergency medical care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
