Stockton, CA (July 1, 2024) – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol stated that a man was killed in a car crash Sunday night in Stockton, officials said.
Police were dispatched around 9:20 p.m. to West Lane and East Fulton Street and found two vehicles involved in a crash, the Stockton Police Department said. The driver of the first vehicle, a 21-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Stockton police said. The other driver, a 38-year-old man, was also taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries. It was unclear what caused the crash, and no arrests have been announced at this time. However, the crash remains under police investigation in the interim.
