Stockton, CA (June 1, 2024) – According to the latest information provided by California Highway Patrol troopers, one person was hurt after a vehicle crashed into a Stockton restaurant following a separate area collision on Saturday morning.

According to the Stockton Police Department, a car crashed into a building in the 2200 block of Grand Canal Boulevard after a two-vehicle collision at a nearby intersection around 7:55 a.m. Saturday. A 56-year-old woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries while EMTs assessed two others at the scene. Police don’t know yet what led to the crash. Code enforcement was called to the scene and will assess the damage to the building, officers said. Members of the Stockton Police Department’s investigation team were also called to the site and are handling the ongoing inquiry, aided by CHP troopers.
