Turlock, CA (September 8, 2024) – California Highway Patrol troopers confirmed that a crash involving a semi-truck and another vehicle took place on Lander Avenue in Turlock on Friday evening, September 6.
Emergency crews responded around 7:15 p.m. to reports of the crash on Lander Avenue at Greenway Avenue, per California Highway Patrol online logs. The CHP further indicated reports of debris across all lanes. The total number of victims and injuries involved remains unknown at this time. However, CHP troopers added that an ambulance responded to the site of the accident to assess those who were hurt.
Witnesses were asked to get in touch with the CHP in Turlock if they had additional information related to this crash. In the meantime, the CHP is still investigating the events leading up to the accident and has not provided further details publicly.
