Turlock, CA (June 10, 2024) – Two people were killed in a suspected DUI crash Saturday afternoon north of Turlock, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The head-on crash occurred about 4:00 p.m. on Geer Road south of Grayson Road. The initial investigation found that a 25-year-old Turlock woman was southbound on Geer when she was involved in a collision with a northbound 1996 Toyota driven by a 36-year-old Modesto man. At least two people died at the scene, but it’s unclear how many passengers were riding with the victims. Alcohol is expected to be a factor in this crash, according to a CHP news release, and no additional details connected with the accident were released.
