Salida, CA (September 26, 2024) – California Highway Patrol troopers stated that a car crash took place on Monday morning, September 23, in the Salida area of Stanislaus County, and at least one person was seriously hurt.
CHP was dispatched around 5:50 a.m. to northbound Highway 99 and Highway 219. It was unclear what caused the incident, but there were reportedly two separate but connected crashes. One involved two vehicles, and the second involved three. A possible major injury also occurred, though specific details were not released. In the interim, no further updates were given on those involved, and the investigation is still ongoing and active.
