Sacramento, CA (November 14, 2024) – According to California Highway Patrol troopers, a person was killed in a car crash on Thursday, November 14, in the Mather area.
Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said that emergency medical services were dispatched around 8:50 a.m. to Excelsior Road and Kiefer Boulevard in Sacramento County. Two vehicles were involved, per authorities: one caught fire with the driver inside, who was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other car rolled over, causing the driver to suffer minor injuries.
