[01-08-2025] – Deputy Sheriff Timothy Corlew, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, California

Riverside County, CA – Deputy Sheriff Tim Corlew tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident at 5:30 a.m. on January 8, 2025. The incident took place on CA 91, just east of La Sierra Avenue in Riverside. While riding westbound in the HOV lane, Deputy Corlew’s patrol motorcycle collided with another vehicle, which resulted in him being ejected from the bike.

Following the crash, he was rushed to Riverside Community Hospital. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Corlew had dedicated nine years of service to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, primarily working out of the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station.

He is mourned by his family, leaving behind a wife and two children. His commitment and service to the community will always be remembered.
