Sacramento, CA (April 4, 2024) – Traffic was reportedly obstructed by a collision on Interstate 5 in Sacramento on Thursday, resulting in major backups and victim injuries.
Police and emergency medical personnel were called to the scene, located on the southbound side of the highway at the El Camino West off-ramp, at 2:30 p.m. and arrived shortly thereafter. One of the accident victims was taken to a nearby hospital. However, it was unclear what caused the crash. The investigative team of the Sacramento Police Department was sent to the scene and is now in charge of the continuing investigation.
