Sacramento, CA (April 7, 2024) – A collision happened early on Sunday in south Sacramento, leaving one woman dead and a man with serious injuries.
According to California Highway Patrol South Sacramento spokesperson Officer Mark Leavitt, three drivers were involved in an accident on southbound Interstate 5 near Meadowview Road just before 4:00 a.m., which resulted in the death of one woman and the serious injury of a man. The cause of the collision and whether or not one of the motorists was intoxicated remains under investigation.
