Concord, CA (April 30, 2024) – California authorities said Sunday they are seeking the driver of a car that flipped over on an East Bay freeway, killing a 9-year-old girl and seriously injuring four other passengers.
The driver of a gray Mazda CX-9 with six people inside fled the scene of a one-car accident on Interstate 680 in Concord, Calif., shortly after 5:00 a.m. on Sunday when a vehicle struck a pedestrian, the California Highway Patrol said in a statement. The cause of the accident remains unknown, however, and no further details have been reported.
