Fatal Bicycle Collisions in Sacramento

The Golden State offers plenty of scenic routes and beautiful sights, making California perfect for bicyclists. In addition, bicyclists can avoid most vehicle traffic clogging our roadways and highways throughout the state, including Sacramento. Unfortunately, the prevalence of cycling in California annually results in a significant number of bicycle accidents. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has found that California has consistently ranked among the states with the greatest number of bicycle fatalities in the nation. The state was responsible for over 15% of the total bicycle fatalities across the nation. And in just one recent year alone, there were purportedly over 11,000 bicycle-related fatalities and injuries throughout the country.

These statistics emphasize the importance of adhering to traffic laws and safety precautions to avoid bicycle collisions. They also emphasize the necessity of legal counsel to assist victims in navigating the intricate consequences of bicycle accidents in California. Although victims can submit a claim independently, navigating the complex system of legal proceedings and insurance negotiations can be a daunting, perplexing, and time-consuming ordeal. Insurance companies frequently utilize strategies to reduce reimbursements or completely reject claims. A seasoned bicycle accident attorney in Sacramento can assist you in navigating these complexities, negotiating with insurance companies, and obtaining maximum compensation.
