Yuba City, CA — A two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of State Route 20 and Gray Avenue on February 1, 2025, at approximately 7:11 p.m. One of the vehicles, driven by the reporting party, sustained a flat tire after being cut off by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene.
The reporting party was able to pull over safely to assess the damage. A witness driving behind the reporting party offered their contact information, which may assist in the investigation.
Shortly after, an individual approached the scene and claimed responsibility for actions that contributed to the collision. However, the unknown vehicle involved did not stop and continued driving.
Authorities are investigating the hit-and-run incident and urge anyone with information to contact local law enforcement. Motorists are reminded to stay alert and report reckless driving to help prevent similar incidents.
