Lathrop, CA – Emergency services swiftly responded to a traffic incident on the Roth Rd onramp leading to I-5 South, providing medical assistance to those hurt in the crash. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision took place at approximately 2:50 a.m.
Following a 911 call about the accident, CHP officers arrived at the scene. They found a white semi-truck and a white Ford sedan involved in the incident. Fire personnel and paramedics also responded, working to evaluate and treat the injured individuals at the site.
As a result of the collision, several people sustained moderate injuries. However, it is still uncertain whether the victims required transport to a local hospital for additional treatment.
The crash led to the closure of the onramp, preventing vehicles from accessing southbound I-5. In addition, tow services from Bobโs Towing were called in to remove the damaged Ford Fiesta from the accident location.
Currently, the CHP is investigating the cause of the collision. Our thoughts remain with all those impacted by this unfortunate event.
