Franklin, CA - One Injured in Crash at Hood Franklin Road On-Ramp

Franklin, CA (May 14, 2025) – One person was injured in a collision on the westbound Hood Franklin Road on-ramp to Interstate 5, the California Highway Patrol reports.

The crash occurred on Wednesday at approximately 1:57 p.m.; emergency crews arrived to find a Nissan Altima and a big rig on the right shoulder, with no lanes blocked. A tow truck removed the Altima, and medical transport for the driver remains unconfirmed.

CHP’s Traffic Collision Investigation Unit continues to probe the circumstances of the incident.
