Fremont, CA (October 16, 2025) – A motorcyclist sustained major injuries in a traffic collision Sunday evening on northbound Interstate 880, just south of Alvarado Niles Road, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash occurred around 5:25 p.m. and involved a red motorcycle and another vehicle. CHP officers reported that the rider suffered a broken left arm in the crash. Emergency medical crews responded to the scene and transported the injured motorcyclist to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Tow services from Island Auto Tow were requested to remove the motorcycle from the scene. All involved vehicles were eventually cleared to the right-hand shoulder as authorities worked to reopen lanes and investigate the cause of the collision.
Our thoughts are with the injured rider, and we wish them a full and speedy recovery.
