Sacramento, CA – Bicyclist Injured in Collision with Hyundai Elantra at Tiber Dr & Folsom Blvd

Sacramento, CA (July 07, 2025) – A bicyclist riding an electric bike was injured in a collision with a black Hyundai Elantra at the intersection of Tiber Dr and Folsom Blvd in East Sacramento on Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 4:13 p.m. and required medical transport due to reported injuries. According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) logs, the bicyclist suffered road rash and a head contusion from the impact. Emergency responders, including Medic 666, provided immediate care on-site and transported the injured cyclist to UC Davis Medical Center for further treatment.

This collision has been classified as an injury incident (1181). No significant roadway blockages were reported, and both the driver and bicyclist remained at the scene. No additional hazards were present at the time of the investigation.
