Bicycle Accidents in Sacramento

The Golden State offers a number of scenic routes and beautiful sights to see, making California perfect for bicyclists to traverse. In addition, bicyclists can avoid much of the vehicle traffic that clogs our roadways and highways throughout the state, including in Sacramento. Unfortunately, the prevalence of cycling in California annually results in a significant number of bicycle accidents. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has found that California has consistently ranked among the states with the greatest number of bicycle fatalities in the nation. The state was responsible for over 15% of the total bicycle fatalities that occurred across the nation. And in just one recent year alone, there were purportedly over 11,000 bicycle-related fatalities and injuries throughout the country.

These statistics emphasize the importance of adhering to traffic laws and safety precautions to avoid bicycle collisions. They also emphasize the necessity of legal counsel to assist victims in navigating the intricate consequences of bicycle accidents in California. Although victims have the ability to submit a claim independently, navigating the complex system of legal proceedings and insurance negotiations can be a daunting, perplexing, and time-consuming ordeal.
