Sacramento, CA (August 13, 2024) – According to California Highway Patrol reports, a two-vehicle crash occurred on the northbound side of Highway 99 near Oak Park on Tuesday afternoon, August 13.

The California Highway Patrol online logs indicate that crews responded to the highway just south of the connection to Highway 50 around 4:00 p.m. The CHP logs further indicate that the crash blocked at least one lane. It was unclear how many victim injuries ultimately took place, but CHP logs showed that an ambulance was also requested for assistance at the scene of the collision.

Drivers traveling northbound were told to expect a slowdown on Highway 99. That said, no further details were released, and the investigation is still ongoing and active at this time. Witnesses were asked to get in touch with the CHP.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families. We hope for their full recovery.
