South Sacramento, CA (July 9, 2024) – One person died after they were hit by a car in south Sacramento on Tuesday night, July 9. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the corner of Gerber Road and Elk Grove Florin Road around 7:00 p.m.
It’s not clear what led up to the collision, but the pedestrian died at the site of the incident despite life-saving measures attempted by EMT units.
