North Highlands, CA – Bicyclist Injured in SUV Crash

North Highlands, CA (June 3, 2025) – One bicyclist was injured when an SUV struck him on Walerga Road at Antelope Road, the California Highway Patrol reports.

The crash occurred around 12:00 p.m. Tuesday when a black Mazda CX-5 struck the cyclist in the southbound lane. Sacramento Fire Department paramedics treated the rider’s injuries at the scene; none were classified as serious.

CHP investigators continue to examine what led to the collision.
