Deadly Car Accidents in California
Catastrophic, fatal auto accidents occur much too frequently on California’s highways. Because the use of passenger vehicles for commuting, errands, travel, and beyond is so commonplace, people often overlook the possibility of serious or deadly auto accidents, which masks the inherent risks associated with them. As a result, far too many drivers who get behind the wheel may engage in risky behaviors like speeding, driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, driving while distracted, or otherwise indulging in other careless or reckless activities.
Every year, car accidents on American roadways cause millions of injuries and thousands of fatalities, and the Golden State is no exception to these grim statistics.
