Woodland, CA — A single-vehicle collision occurred today on Interstate 5 North near the Yolo Off-Ramp around 5:25 p.m. A black 2008 Jeep Wrangler crashed into a tree and went down an embankment. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Emergency services, including the California Highway Patrol and fire units, responded promptly. The Jeep was found in a ditch with its door open, suggesting it was undrivable. Several motorists stopped to assist, demonstrating strong community support during the incident.

The collision caused temporary traffic disruptions as responders managed the scene. The vehicle reportedly breached the freeway fence near the intersection of County Road 99W and County Road 97.

Authorities remind drivers to maintain caution and control, particularly near off-ramps and rural intersections, to prevent similar accidents.
