[02-11-2025] – Injury Reported in Two-Vehicle Collision on I-5

Stockton, CA – An injury was confirmed after a two-vehicle crash occurred Tuesday morning on the northbound lane of Interstate 5, close to the onramp for French Camp Road, as reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). At around 8:07 AM, CHP officers quickly responded to the scene after receiving numerous calls regarding the accident.

Upon their arrival, officials determined that two vehicles had been involved in the incident. Emergency responders were on-site to render medical assistance, and at least one person was reported injured. Details about the extent of these injuries have yet to be released, and it is still uncertain if the injured person was taken to a hospital for further care.

The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing. Officials are currently assessing various factors that may have contributed to the crash, including driver distraction, excessive speed, and potential mechanical failures. Meanwhile, traffic in the vicinity faced temporary delays as law enforcement and tow crews worked diligently to remove the vehicles involved and ensure the safety of passing motorists.

As of now, the names of those involved in the collision have not been made public. The CHP is actively requesting information from any witnesses who might have observed the moments leading up to the accident.
