Carmichael, CA – A tragic two-vehicle accident took place on eastbound Madison Avenue, just west of Manzanita Avenue, on Saturday afternoon, as reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The collision was reported around 3:31 p.m., leading to a swift response from emergency services.
Sadly, one individual lost their life as a result of this horrific incident. Investigators are currently piecing together the events that led to the crash. At this time, it remains unclear if factors such as speed, impairment, or other elements played a role in the accident.
The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed, as authorities are waiting to notify their family first. In the meantime, portions of Madison Avenue near Manzanita Avenue were temporarily closed while officials conducted their investigation and cleared the debris from the scene.
