Hesperia, Calif. — A hit-and-run collision occurred at the intersection of Summit Valley Road and State Route 138 on February 16, 2025, at approximately 7:05 p.m. A silver 2016 Nissan Sentra was found in a ditch after being forced off the roadway by an unidentified vehicle that fled the scene.
Witnesses reported that the unknown vehicle had entered oncoming traffic with its high beams on, causing the Nissan Sentra to swerve and leave the road. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the driver declined medical assistance.
Due to the vehicle’s location in the ditch, it was not immediately visible from the roadway. A tow truck was dispatched to recover the Nissan Sentra. Authorities are investigating the incident and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
